2022 HBCU Scholarship Winners

The Alpha Wives Club of Montgomery County Inc. is excited to announce our 2022 scholarship winners. These students not only excelled academically but they contributed to their school and community.  We wish these deserving high school seniors future success.   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alexandra Farmer

 

Recipient of 2022 Alpha Wives of Montgomery County, Inc. HBCU Scholarship

 

Alexandra is Senior at Springbrook High School.  She balances her exemplary academics with student leadership and mentoring positions.  Her community service transcends her school community with service on the local and state level. She is a multiple year National Honor Society student who currently holds a 4.53 GPA.   She has also received numerous Athletic Awards for Track & Field and recently received National and State Medals for Indoor Track Relays.  Alexandra plans to pursue a degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish at Howard University this Fall.

Kamara Chima is a senior at Quince Orchard High School with a 4.67 GPA.  She is a member of the National Honor Society, as well as the National Science and English Societies.  She is on the varsity track & field team and participates in a school tutoring program.  She plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science at Claflin University in South Carolina this Fall. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adji Keinde is a senior at Damascus High School with a 4.43 GPA.  She has created and led the Black Student Union and African Student Association at her high school.  She also participates the Minority Scholars program.  She volunteers mentoring students at the local elementary, middle schools and Islamic Center. She plans pursue a degree in Health Sciences at Spelman this Fall.
